Differences between Flange Adapter and Dismantling Joint

Flange adapters, also known as wide range flexible joints, are fittings connecting pipes. They are basically the same as dismantling joint, both of which are used for pipe connection, but they are different from each other.

First of all, the materials are different: most flange adapters are made of cast iron, belonging to the casting category. The dismantling joint are mainly made of carbon steel, stainless steel, etc.

Different names: flange adapter is also called wide range flexible joint, and dismantling joint is also called double flange power transmission joint.

Different appearances: the appearance looks like they are all connected in series by screws, but it can be seen from a closer look that there is no flange on the flange adapter, and there are several flanges on the dismantling joint.
