Ductile Iron Pipe Fitting is a kind of cast iron characterised from the spheroidal or nodular type of the graphite content. The spheroidal graphite inhibits crack expansion and leads to enhanced ductility compared to gray cast iron that has flake graphite.

DI Flange Fittings are produced by Ductile Iron using a minimal tensile strength of 400MPa plus a minimum elongation of 12%.

Thermally Bonded Polymeric Topical coating and Inner liner

All Ductile Iron Pipes provided by Vinidex are coated and finely lined with a thermally bonded polymeric coating for exceptional corrosion resistance. Based upon how big this fitting, the coat could be either a cotton or nylon material complying with AS/NZS 4158.
